Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage procurement of raw materials, equipment, and services at the best possible price, quality, and delivery terms.
- Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable conditions.
- Monitor supplier performance, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
- Oversee inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid shortages or overstock.
- Collaborate with operations, production, and finance teams to forecast demand and align procurement accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and sustainability practices.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement in supply chain processes.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven experience (5+ years) in supply chain, procurement, or supply management roles.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory control, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
