The Assistant Structural Design Director will be instrumental in developing innovative, functional and creative packaging. You will be part of a global team that holds the highest reputation for providing the highest levels of creativity, quality and service.

Training will be extensive and ongoing so that you can develop the many essential skills to help you succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop packaging concepts based on briefs, lead time and sustainability objectives
2. Develop packaging samples, renderings and drawings utilizing Solidworks and Adobe Suite.
3. 3D product modeling (packaging, metal parts, accessories)
4. Analyze technical and engineering drawings to determine physical characterizations
5. Troubleshoot new and existing packaging solutions
6. Assist in department workflow and management

The Person:
The key skills and qualities of a Packaging Engineer:

1. Must be ambitious, motivated and professional
2. 5 years of experience in Packaging industry
3. Problem solver, analytical thinker and creative
4. Experience prototyping and creating samples
5. Excellent proficiency in 3D CAD software (Solidworks) and Adobe Suite
6. Knowledgeable with packaging materials, including paper/cardboard, molded pulp, wood, plastic and metal a plus
7. Ability to work with creative and industrial teams
8. Experience within Cosmetics, Spirits and Beauty industry a plus
9. Excellent communication skills
10. Ability to work individually and with a global team

Compensation is commensurate with experience
