Associate Director, COBA Operations and System Support (Global Medical Affairs)

Overview:
On behalf of our client, a pharma-biotech company developing innovative oncology medicines, we are seeking the Associate Director of COBA Operations and System Support within Global Medical Affairs.
Position:
You will be the primary liaison for addressing the technical operational requirements of Medical Affairs teams across Europe. Your role involves supporting systems, tools, and various operational endeavors. Collaborating closely with Field Medical teams on a global scale and partnering with the European Medical Affairs Excellence team, you'll help identify and address business needs in respective countries.
Reporting:
You will report directly to the Senior Director of Business Operations, overseeing Commercial and Medical Affairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the intermediary between EU Medical Affairs teams and COBA, offering vital support.
- Foster consistency across systems, tools, and processes managed by the Commercial Operations and Business Analytics team, ensuring alignment with country-specific regulations.
- Support the dynamic process of identifying and refreshing Medical Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) on a country-by-country basis, collaborating with Medical Affairs leadership.
- Manage change requests related to CRM and ZTT (Zero Touch Technologies) from Medical Affairs teams, ensuring implementation aligns with country requirements.
- Oversee licenses, training, access, and utilization of the Monocl KOL insights platform.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with Medical Affairs Leadership for key initiatives.
- Collaborate with CRM teams to drive adoption and usage, addressing gaps and needs within Medical Affairs.
- Develop a data/systems/tools roadmap for European Medical Affairs teams, aligning with business priorities.
- Provide training, technical, and operational support for field medical tools such as CRM and analytics platforms.
- Contribute to holistic reporting solutions by gathering relevant data in the Central Data Warehouse.
- Serve as the focal point for medical field effectiveness between local teams and COBA, facilitating targeting, sizing, alignment, etc.
- Assist in operationalizing digital initiatives for GMA teams.
- Conduct trainings on commercial operations tools (CRM, Guru, Monocl, Navigator, etc.) for EU Medical Affairs teams.
- Coordinate with internal commercial operations teams globally to support Global Medical Affairs initiatives.
- Support EU Medical Affairs Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Address technical needs of the materials database as required.
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science or a related field.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Advanced degree in a scientific discipline preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership, accountability, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Experience in oncology or rare diseases is advantageous.
