Avaloq Developer

Experience: 3 to 8 years

Job type: Contract (1 year and extendable)

Salary range: Rs. 10,00,000 - 30,10,000

Location: Hybrid – Mumbai location

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Avaloq solutions related to the Broking domain, including order management, execution, clearing & settlement, and trading workflows.
• Customize Avaloq core banking suite to support brokerage products, compliance, and risk management processes.
• Integrate Avaloq with external broking and market platforms using Avaloq's interface architecture.
• Develop scripts and parameterizations for securities handling, trade lifecycle events, and reporting.
• Coordinate with product owners, BA, testers, and downstream systems to manage delivery across trading workflows.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., MiFID, FATCA) relevant to broking operations.

Required Skills:

• 3–8 years in software development, with at least 2+ years in Avaloq customization.
• Strong knowledge of broking/trading processes, especially within a private or investment banking environment.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Avaloq scripting
  • Avaloq parameterization
  • PL/SQL, Oracle
  • Avaloq interface development
• Familiarity with order management systems, trade matching, and settlement cycles.
• Experience s and job scheduling tools.

Preferred:

• Avaloq ACP certification
• Exposure to trading platforms like FIX, Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, or similar.
• Experience working in Agile teams.

Good understanding of Securities / Capital Markets regulations
