Our recruitment agency specialising in the cosmetics industry is recruiting for a leading company in the contract manufacturing of solid cosmetic products. As part of its international expansion, our client is looking for a talented, motivated and experienced French and International Sales Manager. The position is to be filled as part of the international expansion of the company, which has been a pioneer in the innovation of healthy, environmentally friendly products for over 20 years and aims to become Europe's number 1 in the contract manufacturing of solid cosmetics.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop the company's commercial positioning in France and internationally, including identifying market growth opportunities, developing appropriate penetration strategies and targeting new customers.
- Ensure the implementation of an effective sales action plan and actively participate in key events to increase the company's visibility.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure sales growth through strong commercial relationships with French and international cosmetic brands.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a deep understanding of customer needs and translate these needs into concrete projects.
- Communicate transparently and effectively with customers and internal teams to ensure successful projects.
- Take an active part in commercial negotiations to achieve agreements that are beneficial to the business.
- Monitor sales performance and report regularly to management.
- Manage project launches, including making commercial offers, assessing feasibility, calculating costs and ensuring project profitability.
Ideal profile:
- International business graduate with 3-5 years' experience in the cosmetics industry, preferably in the subcontracting sector.
- Fluency in written and spoken French and English, other languages will be highly valued.
- Negotiation skills, initiative, leadership and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Commitment:
- The candidate must live close to an international airport, with preference given to those in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (PACA) region.
