Client Background
For 25 years, our client has been a leader in testing and R&D for energy optimisation in mobility. Based in Hauts-de-France, the centre offers state-of-the-art validation, development, and certification services for a range of applications including automotive, aeronautics, and rail sectors. Their expertise extends to batteries, turbochargers, inverters, and powertrain systems.
As part of their ambitious growth strategy, they are looking for a dynamic Business Developer to enhance their market presence and engage in innovative projects worldwide.
Responsibilities

Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Develop market strategies by targeting high-potential prospects.

Manage the complete sales cycle independently, including prospecting, project construction, solution presentation, and contract negotiation.

Strengthen and manage existing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business goals and optimise strategies.

Promote key services such as Battery Testing, Powertrain Tests, Vibro-Acoustic Tests, and Turbocharger Testing.

Travel regularly (approximately one week per month in France and abroad).
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience.

A minimum of 3 years in sales or account management.

Strong technical aptitude, especially in automotive testing solutions (batteries, powertrains, turbocharging).

Excellent communication skills in French and English.

Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to open new accounts and build relationships.
