We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in freight forwarding and logistics sales to drive new business from the US market. The role involves handling end-to-end sales for import/export, air freight, ocean freight, and related logistics services.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business through outbound calling and lead conversion (US B2B clients)

• Handle sales for:

  • Air freight

  • Ocean freight

  • Import & Export logistics

  • Trucking and warehousing

• Prepare and share freight quotations (air/sea/land)

• Coordinate with operations and pricing teams for smooth execution

• Onboard new customers, agents, and vendors

• Manage customer requirements and provide best logistics solutions

• Maintain CRM (Salesforce preferred) with accurate sales activity

• Follow up on leads aggressively and close deals

• Support documentation and coordination for shipments if required

Mandatory Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in logistics / freight forwarding sales

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Import / Export operations

  • Air freight & ocean freight

  • Pricing & quotations

• Experience selling to US clients (cold calling / inside sales)

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Hands-on experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)

• Comfortable working in night shift

• Willing to work from office (Andheri East)

 Preferred Profile

• Experience in inside sales / outbound sales

• Exposure to international logistics or freight forwarding companies

• Strong negotiation and client management skills

• Target-driven and aggressive sales mindset

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹5 LPA – ₹15 LPA (depending on experience)

• Incentives: $150 – $1000 per month (paid quarterly)

• 5-day working

• US calling experience is mandatory

• Female candidates not preferred due to night shift and no cab facility
