Major Responsibilities

• Manage key supplier relationships
• Manage and develop a team of direct reports consisting of Automation Engineers, Sales Engineers and support staff
• Collaborate with relevant teams to create effective pricing strategies and tactics for the entire company for the Automation business
• Work with the Purchasing team create and implement an inventory management plan for Automation
• Work closely with the Vendor Relations to set expectations, negotiate competitive terms, rebates, and returns
• Create training plan for all sales team.
• Create tools that allow Company employees to be more efficient when selling Automation products within the business unit
• Create market strategy and business plan for business unit
• Support all company functions (Logistics,Finance,etc.) as the key resource for products, and alternates that meet customer Automation needs
• Align sales plans including targets with Vendors
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical, Mechatronics or Communications Engineering. 
• Minimum 7 years of related experience in Automation/Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years previous management experience. 
• Knowledge in Low Voltage switch gears and components.
• Fully Microsoft Compliant (MS Office - Word, Excel, etc.)
• Excellent communication and presentation Skills
• Strong writing and documentation skills
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
• Provide excellent service to internal and external customers
• Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge in Automation systems (PLC, Robots, inverters, etc.)
• Knowledge in Motion Control (Servo Control Systems)
• Experience in selling Automation products to industrial accounts.
• Acquired knowledge in Sales/Marketing
• Experience in Mitsubishi Electric Products
