Job Description

Job location :
Luxembourg, Kirchberg.
As a Category Manager, you will
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for industrial goods and services that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Manage the procurement process for industrial goods and services, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring high levels of service delivery and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their business requirements and ensure that procurement decisions align with their needs.
• Participate in cross-functional projects as required to support the procurement function.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in industrial procurement.
• Analyze spend data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Resolve supplier-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Ensure effective implementation and compliance with new 2One processes
• Coordinate and lead data management jointly with stakeholders (eg. IT, Finance) for Business flawless execution – Budgeting, Savings, ERP integration
As an Category Manager Industrial Indirect, you will bring
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and identify trends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Languages
Fluency in French and English.
Speaking German in a plus.
