Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accurate and adequate accounting records in all areas (Sales, Interco, Depreciation, Cash Pooling, Tax, etc…) in accordance with local and corporate rules.
• Responsible for control of legality, timeliness and accuracy of primary and accounting, tax documentation, and work to ensure integrity of accounts documents, their formalization and transfer to archives in accordance with the established procedure.
• Responsible for timely and accurate preparation in accordance with local accounting standards balance sheets and Profit & Losses reports, Cash Flow, other accounting and statistic documentation required by local legislation; filing the above in time and form with the competent authorities or in electronic format if applicable.
• Responsible for monthly preparation in accordance with IFRS accounting standards balance sheets and Profit & Losses reports, Cash Flow, other accounting reports/information required by corporate rules following the related deadlines in Group tool to be used by the financial controller & the CFO.
• Responsible for timely reconciliation with the GROUP, suppliers, tax authorities, reconcile bank statements, AP, AR, Tax Refund operations, sales and systems (front system in the Stores, SAP, etc).
• Handle Tax audits and requests of Tax authorities keeping CFO in the loop.
• Responsible of accurate application of tax rules & accurate and timely implementation of any change.
• Manage Tax advisors providing Tax reporting for Poland, KZ together with CFO.
• Handle external audit and Internal control audit for accounting area.

Requirements:

• Russian native. English fluent.
• Higher education, Economy Degree;
• Professional experience from 15 years, minimum 7 years as Chief Accountant, preferably in retail, accounting team 8 people max.
• Excellent knowledge of local and IFRS accounting and Russian Taxation rules;
• Advanced PC user, SAP, Excel is the must.
