Our client, a leading global cosmetics and personal care contract manufacturer, is seeking an experienced and motivated COO to join their team. With over a decade of success in the industry, our client is a trusted outsourcing partner to major global brands, providing high-quality products and exceptional services across all distribution channels.
Responsibilities:
As the COO, you will work closely with the CEO and other key business leaders to develop and execute the company's strategy. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the end-to-end supply chain and operations across the company's global footprint.
- Developing and implementing operational policies, objectives, or activities to ensure continuing operations, maximize returns on investments, and increase productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborating with R&D, Marketing, and Sales to determine and lead the most profitable approach to supply customer demand worldwide.
- Monitoring working capital needs and seeking optimum corporate financing to sustain continuous growth across different regions.
- Analyzing reports concerning operational performance, activities, expenses, budgets, or other items that may affect business operations to meet expected operational financial results.
- Establishing departmental responsibilities and coordinating functions among departments and sites.
- Providing mentorship to the management team, validating senior managers in their role, and assigning or delegating responsibilities.Competencies:
The ideal candidate will possess the following competencies:
- Master's degree in business and/or industrial engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the management of cosmetics and significant experience in contract manufacturing.
- Fluency in English, with other languages like German and Spanish highly appreciated.
- Ability to develop and implement operational policies, objectives, or activities to ensure continuing operations, maximize returns on investments, and increase productivity and efficiency.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
- Ability to manage personnel resources, financial resources, and material resources.
- Willingness to travel internationally extensively.
