ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• During the job experience, best practical skills with interesting technologies, tasks, people. In the whole role of L3 engineering practice include design, building and supporting web SaaS solutions based on Linux/Unix platform in a cloud (AWS) and on-premises, experience on server infrastructure migration, monitoring, securing and Linux Server setup/administration. Takes the form part in automating [Iaac], supporting and to ensure CI/CD in product developing.
• Improve deployment process within AWS (ex. Infra & Network provisioning, sharing across and cross-region automated deployment).
• AWS services administration: IAM, VPC, Route53, EC2, ELB, S3, Code Build, Code Deploy, RDS aurora, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, CloudFront, Athena, AWS Backup, Autoscaling, EKS, SNS, Systems Manager, Lambda, Data Sync, EFS, Elastic Cache, Elastic Beanstalk, Glacier, Elasticsearch Service [EFK stack].
• Configured Jenkins from scratch to utilize centralized one for whole organization and created multiple role- based strategies for users to access their own projects and integrated with GitLab and AWS code deploy.
• Implemented CI by using GitLab as source code repository, Jenkins to take automated jobs trigger and zip build file and store into S3 and from S3 used Code Deploy to deploy in destination in autoscaling group with Inline and blue green deployment model.
• Experience with Helm charts to deploying the microservices in EKS cluster in automated way, Experience with setup Istio in EKS cluster for Service-to-service communication [Service Mesh] and Ingress controller.
• Created customized CloudFormation template for Elasticsearch, Fluentd and Kibana (EFK) for maintaining centralized Logs for both application and Container level logs.
• Created Landing Zone in AWS VPC and shared VPC's to different accounts from centralized account, created VPN Tunnels between on-premises, Azure, OCI, configured Transit Gateway as entry point for VPC.
• Created templates and deployed end to end application required infrastructure by using CloudFormation which includes EC2 along with IAM Role with addition EBS volume, RDS with required Subnet Group, S3 bucket with uploaded Lambda zip function, lambda function with custom IAM role, ELB with subdomain mapping
• Experience with AWS Backup created cross account backup planes on Tag based backups for all pre-prod and prod accounts at one backup account by creating backup vault at destination account on weekly and monthly.
• Created RI instance for RDS, Elastic Cache and cost savings plan for compute instances.
• Deployed lambda function to support deployment, unzip uploaded images and delete zipped file in S3, instance scheduling/scaling operations and fault tolerance systems.
• Experience in creating custom alarms for CPU utilization, Network, Disk used percentage & memory for EC2 instances & deploying CloudWatch agent and creating log groups and by using new relic and Dynatrace.
• Experienced in Static websites, DNS management by using Cloudflare and AWS Route53. Experience of good client interaction and to deal with their requirements.
• Performed data migration using HVR from on-premises to Snowflake with initial load, Realtime Change Data Capture [CDC] and validated.
• Adaptive learner & Self-directed, consistently updating self with emerging trends in the industry.
• Strong understanding, Supporting & maintaining AWS, Virtualization platform, knowledge of Azure server/ network/hardware/Linux/Windows/O365/AD/Storage/DR/Backups/Analytics/ IOT/WEB/Mobile to ensure 24x7 Availability.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud/On Prem APM & monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, OP5 and AppDynamics…etc.
• Adhere to all best practices wrt to ITSM/ITIL standards.
• Strong presentation, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead effectively across organizations and engagements, preferably from a professional services organization or similar.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• BE/B.TECH, MCA, BSC (IT), BCA

PRE-REQUISITES:

• Strong understanding, supporting & maintaining of AWS Large Project Environments.
• Hands-On experience in Linux L3 administration in On-Prem and Cloud Environments.
• AWS services administration: IAM, VPC, Route53, EC2, ELB, S3, Code Build, Code Deploy, RDS aurora, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, CloudFront, AWS Backup, EKS, Systems Manager, EFS,
• Experience in Kubernetes in On-Prem environments with minimum of 2 years.
• Experience in Designing the Solution like server infrastructure migration, monitoring, securing and Linux Server setup/administration.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud/On Prem monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana & Cloud Watch.
• Though its 9 x 5 working days support, but expecting Flexibility to work in 24*7 Operations on need basis.
• Knowledge & Experience in handling CI/CD pipeline and in automating the process.
• Able to perform Incident analysis & generate RCA’s.
• AWS SOLUTION ARCHITECT – ASSOCIATE Certifications is Mandatory.

• Reporting: (Incident, Change, Availability etc.) ensure to submit reports timely & accurately.
• Expert in ITSM and ITIL Certification is an advantage.
