With many years of experience as a leading brand in the Asian market, the company has decided to access the European market by being based in France.
We are looking for a talented Director Commercial Operations / Commercial Director to join its team at a leading company in the retail industry. You will handle developing a sharp business understanding, identifying key growth opportunities, and building a strong pool of expertise to fuel marketing with insights and learnings to boost our competitive advantage in Retail.
As the Director Commercial Operations / Commercial Director, you will oversee defining pricing and profitability for key markets and building and managing a high-performing regional sales team from France to Europe. You will also handle driving the development and management of distribution channels and creating a strong channel strategy to drive it across the region and build activations.
Additionally, you will handle driving the development and implementation of regional operational projects with key retailers, leading meeting organization and driving presentations, and following up on action plans. You will also develop, update, and manage external and internal communication tools.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have solid experience of 8+ years in a similar function, dealing with French high-end retailers, and building successful teams. You should also have a master's degree in a relevant field such as trade market, marketing, or business management.
In addition to your strategic thinking and planning skills, you should have a hands-on mentality for execution, strong skills in organization, time and project management, and a know-how and network in retail in France & Europe. You should also have a strong understanding of beauty tech brands and the luxury universe, creativity, openness to think out of the box, and develop new ideas.
Excellent relationship building and communication skills, strong customer- and consumer-orientation, and the ability to travel in Europe are also essential. Local language (French) is needed, and fluency in English and Chinese is a plus.
