Country Manager/General Manager –based on N-E of Romania

Our client is a successful Romanian company, well-known for their products and services in the field of electrical equipment, metal fabrications and entrepreneurial works.

Main responsibilities:

• Ensures the full management of the company and is responsible for achieving the company's objectives, including P&L;

• Is responsible for optimizing the functioning of relations between COO FEI, COO FIT, COO FEO, Support Director); proposes systemic optimization solutions;

• Periodically monitors and analyzes the main performance indicators of the subordinated structures, and proposes solutions for the improvement;

• Coordinates and analyzes the execution of annual budget (income and expenditure), as well as of the investment budget;

•  Is responsible for maintaining the company's values & organizational culture;

• Evaluates the directly subordinated management line;

• Supports innovation and continuous improvement of employees;

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor degree in economic or technical education (Master in Business Administration (MBA) or Master in Economics (ME) is a plus);

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position (GM, COO);

• Use SIGMA or Kaizen type 6 techniques;

• Coordination of the following departments: production (preferably electrical or metal processing), sales, procurement, general support (Accounting, HR, IT, Legal, Administrative, Process Improvements, MK, etc.);

• MS Office knowledge;

• Knowledge of legislation governing the activity of Romanian companies;

• Advanced knowledge of English.
