Our Client is an independent utility consultancy. They procure and manage the energy, water, waste and telecoms requirements for some of the biggest UK brands tendering in excess of £900m worth of utilities each year. This role will provide an administrative service within the Sales Support function. The principal role is managing and checking the deals that pass through the Sales Support team and feeding that data into the Company’s online database portal.
The role involves lots of liaising with internal staff members.
The role is quite data intensive as energy is contracted at meter level and may involve customers with many meters.
This is a “work from home” job. Candidates will need to have broadband download speeds of at least 25 Mbps.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Deal checklist management:
- Creating and processing deal checklist folders, which comply with supplier audits.
- Gathering and compiling the relevant contract and deal ‘proofs’ for the data checklist folder.
- Recording all deals and their information onto a monthly spreadsheet in a timely manner.
- Ensuring all signed deal checklists are processed fully in a timely manner.
- Communicating with other internal staff members and departments to keep them updated on the progress of the monthly deals.
- Database management and entry:
- Ensure all contract details are processed into the database accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure any changes to contracts (change of tenancies, voided contracts, lost contracts) are updated and recorded in the database accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with uploading sites and meters to the database accurately and efficiently (both single entries and bulk entries via excel upload templates).
- Provide an administrative assistant within the Sales Support team, supporting any ad-hoc administrative tasks that arise.
- Work closely with other departments: – sales teams, account management and operations.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
