My client is a leading Healthcare company headquartered in the US and has a global centre for their IT and Technology based out of Hyderabad.

As a Data Engineer works closely with various application teams and lifecycle services analysts to analyze, extract unstructured and semi-structured data from legacy applications into the azure data factory and present the data to end-users using Power BI.

Responsibilities include -

• Contributing to development, requirement and data analysis, business solution discussions, modelling, migration and testing of application data migration into Azure landing Zone
• Handling large scale structured and unstructured data from internal and third-party sources
• Write complex queries for ad-hoc business data reporting. Unit testing and System Integration Testing
• Perform data analysis required to troubleshoot data-related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years experience working as a migration specialist, Database Engineer, or similar role with the capability to build robust, highly scalable, and sustainable applications
• Expertise in gathering and translating user requirements into dashboards using Power BI, data analysis and implementing development best practises
• Managing Power BI tenants, configuration management, monitoring, utilization, and fine-tuning performance of long running reports
• Knowledge of one or more relational databases or NoSQL systems including Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, DB2 and solid experience in ETL workflow management
• Conceptual understanding of relational, NoSQL databases, indexing, partitioning and parallel data processing
• Working experience on Azure technologies like Data Lake ADLSGen2, Data Bricks, Azure Data factory, Azure SQL etc
• Ability to write SQL/R/ Python scripts or any other scripting language to retrieve data
• Working experience in data migration tools like DMA, ADMS etc
• Well versed in DevOps and CI/CD deployments
• Proactive, problem-solving, self-motivated, and independent critical thinker
• Strong collaboration skills, with good track record in establishing partnerships and teamwork
