Key Responsibilities:

• Database Administration (70%): Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot databases, ensuring high availability and performance. Manage incidents, problems, and query tuning.
• Archiving & Storage (20%): Design backup, archiving, and storage strategies. Install upgrades and patches.
• People Management (10%): Oversee junior DBAs, provide training, and manage workload balance.

Desired Profile:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Technology, MCA, BCA, or related field.
• Experience: 8+ years as a Database Administrator, with expertise in:
• Database standards, backup/recovery, and security.
• SQL query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with database design, documentation, and third-party tools.
• Problem-solving skills and algorithmic thinking.
