Title: Deputy Manager IT
Location: Gurgaon, Delhi and Noida
Notice Period: 30 Days
KEY FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inputs for IT Planning & Review - 10 %
- To provide technical inputs for development of annual plans, budgets and new initiatives within the IT Function. To provide requisite support for implementation of annual plans and new initiatives.
- To prepare MIS/ Reports on defined metrics to track and monitor the performance of IT systems / software
- To identify opportunities and undertake continuous improvements to enhance performance and improve operational and cost efficiencies of IT Systems/ Software, under the guidance of IT Business Partner
To maintain an in-depth and current awareness of new technologies and applicable statutory/ regulatory requirements. To draw from this knowledge for regular improvements in IT Systems/ Software
- Management of Existing System/ Software - 20%
- To ensure day-to-day management and maintenance of IT systems / software (incl. SAP and ERP) to provide un-interrupted IT services, as per the defined SLAs, in coordination with the Software/ Service Providers
- To manage access rights for various systems/ software, as guided by IT Business Partner
- To monitor usage of IT systems/ software at TIPL, in accordance with the licensing agreements
- To actively identify and mitigate information security risks in the IT systems/ software, and ensure proper functioning of security tools/ patches
- To ensure Business Continuity Plans are integrated with the various IT systems/ software
- To act as the first point of contact for software/ system related queries and issues of users, and resolve these queries/ issues within the agreed TAT. To highlight critical issues to Manager (IT) for resolution.
- To monitor repetitive issues and undertake steps for effective containment / prevention of such issues.
- To provide support for system-related requests by the user business / functions, such as change in data format, automation of reports, access requests, new product creation, etc., as required
- To manage master data in IT systems / software, and ensure that data-related requirements from the users are addressed properly
To conduct regular user trainings on existing systems/ software, as required
- New Developments / Customized solutions - 20%
- To support the IT Business Partner in requirement gathering for customization / new developments, in collaboration with the user business/ function. To develop technical requirements/ architecture based on these business requirements
- To prepare project plan and cost estimates, and share these with the IT Business Partner and user Business / Functional Head for requisite approvals
- To perform testing of these customization/new developments. To integrate new developments/ customizations with the existing functionalities, as required
To support the user business/ function in implementation of customized / new developments and resolution of any post-implementation issues, as necessary
- IT Infrastructure - 20%
- To support in installation and monitoring of infrastructure related such as servers, networking equipment, computer hardware and other IT assets
Address basic infrastructure concerns and assist with new infrastructure projects – New Office Project, Warehouse expansion

- Vendor / Service Providers Management - 15%
- To provide technical inputs to IT Business Partner for the procurement processes

To undertake vendor management, and ensure delivery of IT services as per agreed SLAs
To monitor, track and support timely renewal of contracts/ agreements with the vendors, as required, to facilitate un-interrupted IT operations
- IT Policies, Processes and Compliances - 15%
- To support in roll-out and implementation of IT Policies/ Processes, including training of Associates on TIPL’s IT Policies
- To ensure adherence to TIPL’s IT policies/ SOPs as well as statutory/ regulatory requirements in management of existing systems/ software and in all customizations/ new developments. To ensure prompt reporting and resolution of deviations
- To maintain thorough documentation and recordkeeping within IT Function, in accordance with IT Policies at TIPL and Statutory / Regulatory requirements To provide requisite support for internal and external IT audits, and for addressing non-conformances/ observations identified in these audits
