Clinical Duties:

• General dermatology: Diagnose and treat a wide range of common and complex skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and fungal infections.
• Subspecialty areas: Highlight specific areas of expertise within dermatology, such as paediatric dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, dermatologic surgery, or immunohematology, depending on your hospital's needs.
• Dermatopathology: If applicable, mention expertise in interpreting skin biopsies and providing accurate diagnoses.
• Allergy testing and patch testing: Conduct allergy testing and patch testing to identify underlying causes of skin reactions.
• Dermatological procedures: Perform a variety of procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, laser treatments, and chemical peels.
• Phototherapy: Utilise phototherapy for specific skin conditions.
• Consultation and follow-up: Conduct consultations, provide second opinions, and ensure comprehensive follow-up care for patients.
• Participation in multidisciplinary teams: Collaborate with other specialists such as allergists, oncologists, and plastic surgeons when needed.

Additional Duties:

• Teaching and training: Participate in the training and education of residents, fellows, and medical students.
• Research and innovation: Conduct research and contribute to the advancement of dermatological care in Saudi Arabia.
• Clinical governance and audit: Participate in clinical governance activities and audits to ensure high-quality care.
• Community outreach and education: Raise awareness about skin health issues and participate in community outreach programs.
• Administrative duties: Contribute to departmental management and decision-making processes.

We envision a candidate who:

• Possesses a CCT/CCST qualification or its equivalent from Europe, the USA, or Canada.
• Holds a minimum of 3-5 years' post-qualification experience in a Consultant role.
