Director of Corporate Affairs & Communications – France
Job Overview:
On behalf of our client, a biotech company developing innovative oncology medicines, we are seeking the Director of Corporate Affairs & Communications for the French and BeLux markets. Reporting to the General Manager, this role involves representing the company to various stakeholders, articulating the company vision and mission. The individual will adapt the global corporate strategy to the French and BeLux markets and will be accountable for meeting corporate affairs objectives within defined resources and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the Corporate Affairs strategy in France and BeLux.
- Cultivate relationships with diverse stakeholders including government bodies, patient groups, and medical societies.
- Lead strategic initiatives with stakeholders, aligning with the European and international Corporate Affairs team.
- Enhance the company's brand and product awareness in the haemato-oncology market.
- Identify opportunities to improve stakeholder perception in France and BeLux.
- Manage the Corporate Affairs budget and leverage agencies/tools to support strategy execution.
- Create stakeholder-centric communication materials using digital channels.
- Ensure messaging aligns with Corporate's vision and mission.
- Oversee project management for Corporate Affairs activities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and keep management informed of relevant healthcare developments.
- Drive business decisions centered on patient care and ensure compliance with regulations.
Qualifications:
- Scientific or similar background with over 5 years of experience in Corporate Affairs.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Track record of success in entrepreneurial environments.
- Proficiency in the haemato-oncology market.
- Motivated, solution-oriented, and collaborative.
- Fluent in French and English; proficiency in other European languages preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office.
Education: Bachelor's degree required; higher qualifications advantageous (MD, PhD, MBA).
