Power Conversion Technology Laboratory will play an important role in the Digital Power Business Unit in the design and development of power converters and control systems for applications such as data centers, PV, AC-DC, and DC-DC power supplies.

We are seeking an experienced Energy Expert Engineer with a specialization in UPS Power Hardware Electronics to join our team.
As an Energy Expert Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing UPS power hardware solutions for our clients.
Your expertise in power electronics and energy management will be instrumental in delivering reliable and efficient UPS systems.
Responsibilities
Technology Roadmap Development:
Support the development of the technology roadmap for the next generation UPS architecture and converter structures.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in power electronics and propose innovative solutions.
Research and Development:
Lead and execute research and development efforts for novel UPS architecture and converter topologies.
Apply your expertise in power electronics to design advanced and efficient UPS systems.
Converter Design and Verification:
Lead the design, verification, and validation of converter concepts in the R&D laboratories.
Collaborate with a team of engineers to ensure the successful implementation of UPS power hardware solutions.
Collaboration with External Institutes:
Work with external R&D institutes and universities to collaborate on developing novel converter and control algorithms for power electronic applications relevant to Network Energy.
Foster partnerships and stay at the forefront of research in the field.
Intellectual Property:
Generate novel ideas and protect them through the filing of intellectual property rights (IPR).
Contribute to the company's portfolio of innovative technologies and solutions.
Technical Customer Communication:
Provide technical support and communicate with European customers.
Understand their requirements, address their concerns, and offer technical solutions and recommendations.
Requirements
Education and Experience: Hold a Ph.D. or master’s degree in power electronics, electrical engineering, electronic engineering, or a similar field.
Possess extensive experience in power converter research and development in the UPS domain.
Power Electronics Expertise:
Strong expertise in power electronic converter topologies, modulation, and control development, preferably in UPS or similar applications.
Solid theoretical understanding of power electronic converter principles, multi-level converters, magnetic component designs, and power semiconductor devices such as wide bandgap devices.
Innovation and Research Background:
Proven experience in new technology development initiatives and innovation. Demonstrated ability to publish research findings in reputed journals.
