Power Conversion Technology Laboratory will play an important role in the Digital Power Business Unit in the design and development of power converters and control systems for applications such as data centers, PV, AC-DC, and DC-DC power supplies.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Energy Junior Engineer with a minimum of two years of working experience in a Research Laboratory.
The ideal candidate will specialize in UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) control algorithm electronics and possess a strong foundation in electrical engineering and power electronics.
As an Energy Junior Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing UPS control algorithms to enhance system efficiency, reliability, and performance.
Responsibilities
Research and Development:
Conduct research and development activities related to UPS control algorithms and electronics, with a focus on improving energy efficiency and reliability.
Algorithm Design and Optimization:
Design, develop, and optimize control algorithms for UPS systems to maximize power quality, minimize energy consumption, and enhance system performance.
Testing and Validation:
Conduct rigorous testing and validation of control algorithms using simulation tools and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing platforms to ensure accuracy and functionality.
Prototyping and Implementation:
Collaborate with the hardware engineering team to integrate and implement UPS control algorithms into prototype systems and conduct necessary debugging and troubleshooting.
Performance Analysis:
Analyze the performance of UPS control algorithms through data collection and analysis, identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions.
Documentation:
Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation related to control algorithm development, testing, and implementation.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, software developers, and system integrators to ensure seamless integration and overall system optimization.
Industry Research:
Stay updated with the latest advancements in UPS control algorithms, power electronics, and related fields, and apply this knowledge to enhance the organization's products and services.
Compliance and Standards:
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements throughout the UPS control algorithm development process.
Requirements
Education:
Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field. A PhD degree or higher is preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of two years of practical experience working in a Research Laboratory, focusing on UPS control algorithm electronics or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, MATLAB, or Python for algorithm development and simulation.
Strong understanding of power electronics, including power converters, inverters, and DC-DC converters.
Knowledge of control theory and experience with control algorithm design, optimization, and implementation.
Familiarity with simulation tools such as Simulink, PLECS, or PSIM.
Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing platforms.
Analytical Skills:
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems and data to identify opportunities for improvement.
