JOB GENERAL SCOPE :
You will be responsible for developing and managing the forthcoming new business in the fastgrowing battery field in Europe (mainly Western & North Europe). This role is responsible for new business development from initiation to sales, based on products and solutions of our client in battery industry (mainly Li-ion batteries).
With the main focus on sales, this role also :
• Coordinates product development, technical support and marketing activity provided by other departments,
• Identifies growth initiatives and executing the plan to expand our client industry presence in the European market of conductive additives for batteries.
• Expands and executes the group's strategy in a sustainable way in compliance of our business ethics.
You will need to have tenacity to maintain this on a long-term basis. Therefore, it is important that you have the capability to use your own initiative and work independently.
This position reports Sales & Marketing Director EMEA
The work involves constant communication with key persons of the company in technical support, R&D and product development divisions in China, Europe and Russia.
MAIN ACHIEVEMENTS / MISSIONS / OBJECTIVES :
• Identify opportunities, develop sales pipeline, execute plan and sustain the sales for the coming years.
• Team cooperation with Product Development, R&D, Quality department, Customer Service and Marketing teams.
• Manage accurately sales pipeline metrics.
• Develop customer intimacy at all levels of customer hierarchy (R&D, Purchasing, Marketing, Sales, Demand Planning, Regulatory…).
• Manage contract and supply agreement. In coordination with customer service, monitor demand planning, stock and deliveries.
• Maintain high level of knowledge on latest battery’s market development.
• Maintain and use daily CRM to report all activities.
• Participate to seminars, fairs and exhibition to actively promote our breakthrough technology.
POSITION ATTRACTION :

Our client’s process for producing SWCNT is protected by patents and patent applications in 50 countries, owned by a global holding company headquartered in Luxembourg. This technology allows the synthesis of a wide range of carbon nanomaterials.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
• Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science or Material engineering.
• Minimum of 5+ years sales experience in the battery market or associated raw materials used in this industry.
• Ability to ask probing questions to truly understand product, process and market demand.
• Able to handle large quantities of work and multi-tasking with effective prioritization skills.
• Active team player who will effectively work across all functions within OCSiAl.
• Fluent in English and German will be a plus.
• Willingness to travel within EU, up to 50%.
