Our client is looking for an Export Sales Director based in Paris area with expertise in large and medium-size RETAIL OUTLETS ( Hypermarket, Supermarket ) to support its ambitious international development. This role involves driving international development with a strategic focus on mass and selective distribution channels.
Reporting to one of the founders and a member of the Management Committee, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Analysing markets and defining the international sales strategy in line with the company's overall strategy (marketing and distribution channels, marketing zones, setting up subsidiaries).
- Arguing and justifying the export strategy to General Management.
- Drawing up and managing an Export Business Plan in conjunction with General Management and the Finance Department.
- Analysing economic, commercial and financial results and assessing the profitability of export activities in relation to the objectives set.
- Creation and management of dashboards and monitoring tools (sales, profitability) and implementation of corrective actions.
- Implementing and managing sales policy.
- Developing and implementing marketing and communication policies in conjunction with the head office teams. Drawing up sales aids for customers, subcontractors, wholesalers and sales staff.
- Recruiting, managing and coordinating export sales teams.
- Defining and running an economic and competitive monitoring process to anticipate changes in the hygiene and personal care markets and consumer trends in target markets.
Profile required
- Higher education with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the FMCG sector, with a focus on hygiene and personal products.
- Demonstrated success in managing large and medium-size RETAIL OUTLETS ( Hypermarket, Supermarket )
- Proven knowledge of international markets, particularly the Eurozone, UK and China.
- Strong customer/results orientation and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Proven experience in team management and an appetite for negotiation.
- Fluent/bilingual written and spoken French and English. Fluency in a third foreign language would be a plus.
Salary:: +/- 120 k€ + Bonus based on performance
