We are looking to recruit for our client, an innovative and dynamic SME and independent leader in the hygiene and personal care sector. The company specialises in organic, natural and ecological products for everyday use. Our client is looking for an Export Sales Director to join their team in the Paris area. This position requires an expert in supermarkets and hypermarkets to support their ambitious international expansion. The role involves leading international development with a focus on both mass and selective distribution channels.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse markets and define the international sales strategy in line with the company's global strategy (marketing, distribution channels, sales territories, setting up subsidiaries).
- Present and defend the export strategy to the General Management.
- Develop and manage an export business plan in collaboration with the General Management and the Finance Department.
- Assess the economic, commercial and financial results and measure the profitability of the export activities in relation to the objectives set.
- Create and manage dashboards and monitoring tools (sales, profitability) and implement corrective actions.
- Implement and manage the commercial policy.
- Develop and implement marketing and communication policies in collaboration with head office teams. Create sales support tools for customers, sub-contractors, wholesalers and sales representatives.
- Recruit, manage and coordinate export sales teams.
- Define and lead economic and competitive monitoring to anticipate changes in the hygiene and personal care markets and consumer trends in target markets.
Profile required

- A graduate with at least 10 years' experience in the FMCG sector, ideally in hygiene and personal care products.
- Proven success in managing large and medium sized retail outlets (hypermarkets, supermarkets).
- Strong knowledge of international markets, particularly Europe, UK and China.
- Customer/results driven and entrepreneurial.
- Proven team management and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of a third language would be an advantage.
