Job Description
An important international Technology company is looking for several FIELD / CUSTOMER ENGINEERS
The Field / Customer Engineer is the owner of customer incidents as assigned.
2 possible areas of activities
Support for ATM or RETAIL infrastructure
- Required to perform work on products and services specifically financial/ATM products and retail/POS.
- Make minor repairs and replace components on Tier I equipment such as PCs, workstations and peripherals, printers, front-end POS systems, First Line Maintenance on ATMs and kiosks.
- Performs periodic preventative maintenance on assigned products; Diagnoses problems, makes minor repairs, and replaces components (at the module level); Follows appropriate security procedures when working with ATM's and or within financial institution
NETWORK support
- He/she will do IMAC activities and repairs of network equipment such as switches, routers, servers, etc. at our customer’s premises.
- He/she will also assist in site preparation, staging of equipment, and minor testing of equipment.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Customer Relations/Customer Satisfaction
- Build working relationships with customers and develop informal communication channels with customer account at the local level (i.e. Branch, Store or office).
- Responsible for ownership of all customer issues/needs that are voiced or observed and acts appropriately.
- Understands and performs the various customer Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements and elevates or escalates issues when appropriate, and/or according to established procedures.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- College degree or bachelor in electronics or computer technology or equivalent is preferred.
- Ideally 1- or 2-year experience but a motivated starter is also welcome.
- Works well with minimal supervision; Good problem-solving skills;
- Social and flexible and team player.
- Ability to pick up new skills quickly, to work under pressure and to meet deadlines and produce high quality work
NETWORK support
- Knowledge of networks, Lan/Wan (Wifi, Routers, Switches, PC, server)
- Cisco certified engineer is a plus
ATM and RETAIL support
- Knowledge of PC hardware and software.
- ATM experience is a plus
Language requirements:
- Dutch and / or French speaking
- Fluent in English
