Financial Manager- IASI/BUCHAREST

 

Our CLIENT is one of the leading global MarTech companies with the business objective of helping companies navigate the intricate world of cloud marketing and fully embrace the opportunities of the digital era.

The Financial Manager will lead the financial and accounting department, overseeing all financial, accounting, tax, and control functions. This role includes providing critical support to the management team to ensure the company's financial health and compliance.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure the accuracy of information provided to all personnel in all departments of the company, as well as to all partners, clients, and suppliers

• Prepare monthly budget executions and present them to operational boards. Prepare the following year's budget with sponsors and department managers and propose it for approval to the strategic board

• Implement, manage, and verify the use of budget, expense, and budget adjustment tools in relation to budget managers

• Responsible for implementing, managing, and controlling the ERP (financial) and managerial reporting

• Provide business case arguments in financial control situations - supporting accounting decisions with optimal business solutions that comply with the tax code

• Ensure compliance with applicable revenue recognition standards and develop and implement related policies and procedures, including contract review to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment.

• Manage the accrual accounting process to ensure transactions are recorded in the correct accounting period, and oversee general ledger postings ensuring accurate classification of transactions.

• Financial modeling and data analytics skills are an advantage, enabling the ability to build complex financial models and analyze large datasets to support strategic decision-making.

• Monthly control of budgets implemented with budget managers

• Maintain real-time and forecasted financial information:

- Real-time and forecasted cash flow

- Payable, collectable, collection schedules

- P&L

- Dividend forecasts, dividend calendar related to financial performance

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Completed higher education in the economic-financial field

• In-depth competencies and expertise in financial management (reporting, treasury, analysis, planning, investments)

• Competencies in calculating risk indicators for financial investments and budget adjustments (advantage)

• Advanced knowledge of accounting records and financial-accounting legislation

• Fiscal Code knowledge and understanding at a deep level

• Knowledge of operating within the IFRS model

• Solid knowledge of MS Office (Excel - advanced level)

• Experience in using ERP systems

• Well-connected within the professional financial network

• Vendor and stakeholder management skills

• Proficiency in English
