Role: Full stack engineer - Ruby on Rails

Location: Remote

Notice period: 60 days or lesser

What you’ll do 

• Collaborate with other engineers and architects to implement features, fix bugs, optimize performance, and design new solutions for our product

• Participate in technical design and code review processes 

• Contribute to existing documentation and/or educational content based on product requirements and user feedback 

• Contribute to maintaining a positive, healthy and inclusive learning culture 

What you’ll bring 

• Experience developing applications using Ruby on Rails and AngularJS (or similar modern web frameworks) 

• Minimum of 2 years experience

• Software development experience with one or more general purpose programming languages (e.g. Ruby, Go, Python) 

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, Redis) 

• Experience in HTML, CSS & JavaScript 

• Familiarity with Linux and cloud technologies 

• Ability to communicate product architectures, design proposals, and negotiate different options with stakeholders 

• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, transparency, and drive 

• Familiarity with Agile engineering practices 

• Experience working with geographically distributed teams 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
