Job Title: Global Head

Department: SCM & Procurement

Location: Hyderabad

The organization is looking for a self-motivated leader to head the end-to-end supply chain function. The person will be responsible for managing the entire department from procurement to inventory management, sourcing strategies, building supply partnerships, cost optimization, automation, and logistics for the organization and supervising the overseas operations too.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive global sourcing strategy for dialysis consumables and pharmacy products, considering cost optimization, quality assurance, and supply chain resilience.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers globally, fostering strategic partnerships that align with the company's goals and values.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and contracts.
• Continuously analyze market trends, commodity prices, and currency fluctuations to identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
• Implement cost-effective sourcing initiatives while maintaining high product standards.
• Optimize fulfillment operations for efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee and optimize transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
• Collaborate with logistics partners to enhance service levels and streamline transportation networks.
• Implement inventory management best practices to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan inventory replenishment.
• Lead negotiations and establish effective freight contracts with global carriers and logistics partners to ensure cost-effective and reliable transportation.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customs regulations and requirements in key regions to facilitate smooth customs clearance processes.
• Collaborate with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and customs brokers in different regions to build strong relationships and ensure a seamless flow of goods.

Key Requirements:

• Post-graduation with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
• Proven record of sourcing, team management and fulfilment. International exposure is a plus.
• Warehousing experience is an add-on.
• Expertise in freight contract negotiations, customs clearance, and TCO model designing.
• Strong communication & negotiation skills.
• Good data handling & analytics capability.
