Global Business Unit Head | Specialty Chemicals for the Textile industry
For a leading international industrial group active in specialty chemicals for textiles, we are conducting a confidential executive search for a Global Business Unit Head.
This senior leadership role carries global responsibility for strategy, innovation, commercial development, and full P&L, within a complex international environment.
Scope & Responsibilities

Define and execute the global BU strategy in alignment with group objectives

Lead innovation and portfolio development in close collaboration with R&D and technical teams

Drive international business development and support regional sales organizations

Ensure financial performance through P&L ownership, budgeting, and forecasting

Build strong relationships with key customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
-
Lead and inspire multidisciplinary, multicultural teams with a collaborative leadership approach
Profile Sought

Scientific background in chemistry, fibers, or textiles
-
Senior experience in BU leadership, general management, or strategic commercial roles within specialty chemicals fo textile industry

Strong business acumen and proven ability to drive performance in international markets

Strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on leadership style

Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
-
International mobility (50%) and availability for regular travel
