We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our Global Supply Chain function within the Materials Management team.
This global role will focus on developing, optimizing, and maintaining material planning processes to ensure efficient material flow and demand-supply balance across the worldwide supply network.
Role Overview
As the Global Material Planning Lead, you will be responsible for the strategic design and operational execution of material planning activities to guarantee that materials are available at the right time, in the right quantity, and at the right location — supporting both production requirements and customer demand.
You will play a key role in optimizing stocking locations, ensuring alignment with forecasted demand, and defining dispatch strategies for on-time customer deliveries.
This position also involves driving cross-functional collaboration across logistics centers, manufacturing sites, and business units to enhance visibility, responsiveness, and efficiency across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the global material planning process, ensuring synchronization between demand forecasts and supply execution.
Define and continuously improve material flow strategies to support production and customer delivery requirements.
Optimize inventory placement and dispatch points across global logistics centers to achieve the best balance of service level and cost.
Develop and maintain planning parameters in collaboration with operations and supply chain stakeholders.
Establish and lead a global material planning forum to drive alignment, knowledge sharing, and process excellence.
Act as a bridge between business units, logistics, and manufacturing to ensure end-to-end supply chain efficiency.
Identify and lead continuous improvement and change management initiatives within material planning and supply optimization.
Communicate proactively with senior management and operational teams to provide transparency, insights, and strategic recommendations.

Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, derive insights, and make sound data-driven decisions.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and related analytical tools; familiarity with ERP systems such as Infor LN or similar platforms is an advantage.
Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM or CSCP are considered a strong asset.
Deep understanding of global supply chain networks, planning systems, and inventory management principles.
Excellent command of English (both written and spoken), with strong communication and presentation skills.
