About the Role – The Group Territory Manager will be completely responsible for the profitability of the particular Region and quality of service. This is a strategic and important part for the business hence we need someone who is analytical, strategic as well as tactical. The most valuable traits we are looking for in this role are:
- Ownership - You will own the strategy, delivery, quality, and the outcomes of the customer Support team and will be accountable for the same.
- User orientation - Create time for customer interactions and user understanding. Start by looking at things from the user’s perspective and don’t stop until you’ve evaluated how the solution has impacted the user.
- Velocity- You will be expected to deliver results in a fast paced, operationally intensive, and rapidly changing environment.
- Ethical - Work ethic is about showing up, being on time, being reliable and doing what you say. It is about being a fundamentally good person that others can count on and enjoy working with.
Responsibilities-
- Provide business vision and leadership for the assigned region
- Develop a complete understanding of organization structure, customer requirements, competitor activity, market share targets, the developing markets, sales penetration, local sales coverage and sales revenue goals through successful development and implementation of sales strategies and tactical plans.
- Lead the planning and implementation of the regional sales plan working in collaboration with stake holders to increase market share, develop new markets and to improve gross margins by enhancing the performance.
- Is accountable for achieving bookings, revenue and gross margin objectives.
- Assist in the annual sales budgeting process to develop comprehensive region sales plans including appropriate actions required to ensure achievement of division’s growth targets.
- Regular reporting on sales performance including sales forecasts, bookings, backlog, revenue, budget, competitor activity, customer needs and regional climate.
- Responsible for Recruitment, Training & Retention.
Skills Required:
- 9+ years of relevant experience with 5 years in Telesales team management, preferably in Internet industry.
- Postgraduate /MBA or equivalent.
- Exposure to value & volume selling is a must.
- Good Understanding of Quality metrics and process improvements.
