Job Description:

• Closely work with the CTO and the IT leadership create vision and strategies and oversee the execution of the tactical roadmap in support of the technology objectives
• Ensure technical roadmaps are identified and executed to support the IT strategy; report progress to CTO to achieve the future vision
• Standardize and optimize IT processes and procedures to bring value and enable continuous improvement, performance, consistency etc., and report on the effectiveness
• Delivery of Cloud strategies aligned with business objectives and with a focus on cloud migrations and DevOps led automated operations
• Provide leadership in infrastructure and migration of application to cloud native and techniques for quick application movements into the cloud
• Planning and developing the vendor management policies, programs, and procedures
• Implement and maintain governance ensuring consistent engagement with Legal, Finance, and Procurement requirements for each purchase/contract
• Develop, implement, and operate IT Transformation initiatives across geographies
• Identify, evaluate, and leverage modern technological developments such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics and DevOps to ensure operational excellence
• Develop, oversee, and control overall the P&L of IT Infrastructure and ensure effective management and utilization of approved budget and resources
• Continuously identify area for smart spending and cost saving to improve the budget spending and ensure it is part of the DNA and practices within the group
• Establish and monitor the operational compliance, control, and practices to meet audit and security requirements
• Lead, coach and guide the team in both management skills and technical expertise to deliver a scalable, reliable, and safe cloud infrastructure for LoBs.

Profile Description:

• Engineering/Postgraduate in IT from Premier Institutes with at least 15 years of progressive experience in managing IT Infrastructure, design, implementation, information architecture, integration, and automation
• Demonstrated leadership ability in owning the IT Infrastructure roadmap, strategies, and architecture with the ability to plan and deliver transformative and critical committed deliverables
• Deep understanding of Cloud and Infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, and applications) to deliver end-to-end Cloud Infrastructure architectures and designs
• Must have experience around the Data center migration and moving from legacy to Cloud and experience in managing the enterprise-wide technology change impacting multiple business/stakeholders
• Hands-on experience or extensive knowledge of IT Infrastructure including Azure, AWS, Enterprise Compute, Storage, Servers, Data Centers, Linux, Windows, Authentication, Authorization, Deployment, Monitoring, Data Protection, Infrastructure as a Service, Continuous Integration and Automation
• Sound knowledge of AI, Agile Methodology, Machine Learning, Big Data, DevOps, Virtualization, Cloud Automation etc. and strong knowledge and expertise in virtualization and managing cloud based virtualized infrastructure
• IT Security and Governance framework including ISO standards, knowledge of BSS, CRM, Telco Billing, Portal, SAP, BI and other key systems will be an added advantage for the role
• Good communication, interpretation, and comprehension skills, be a proactive leader and have excellent customer/stakeholder management skills
• Willingness to work in different time zones to manage customers from different geographies, and willingness to travel (short, informed trips) based on the business needs.
