Prefered Skill set

• Proven experience in technical and disciplinary lead in the area of international automotive business in preferably in the products of traction drive systems or other electric motor & electronics
• Minimum Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar field
• Proven experience in automotive R&D processes according to A-SPICE
• Proven experience in the area of systems engineering (system requirements, system architecture, system simulation, …) for automotive traction drive systems
• Proven experience in the development and integration of electric traction systems
• Proven experience in serial product development, requirements- and change management processes
• Strong knowledge and experience in system testing and mechatronic product validation in automotive business
• More than 10 years’ experience in automotive development (best case proven experience in systems engineering for automotive traction drive systems) and minimum 5 years of experience as group leader or higher management level
• Fluent English written and spoken is a must

Tasks:

• Technical and Disciplinary lead of the R&D Team Automotive Drive Systems in Slovenia
• Responsibility for overall activities in the area of system engineering activities and also integrated systems (e-machine & electronics) in Slovenia
• Responsible for local representation of Automotive Drive System towards Slovenian Management level including HC planning and build up, resource-, CAPEX- and budget planning
• Approval of system deliverables (requirements and system architecture) as well as change management on system level
• Control of interface and processes between R&D, all supporting functions and the manufacturing site
• Support in the implementation of the development process, lessons learned and best practices especially with a focus in the area of system engineering for e-machines and power electronics
• Support in test definition and evaluation of test results incl. evaluation from prototype to series production
• Support in project documentation for internal and external purposes as well as high-level management
• Support in the definition of tests and evaluation of test results over complete R&D process
• Ensuring proper technical documentation as required according to A-SPICE requirements
• Managing team members in Šempeter pri Gorici, Ljubljana and Maribor location
• Location for the position in Šempeter pri Gorici or Ljubljana
