Job Description
Head of Construction Management & Factory Planning
Tasks and qualifications:
Technical and disciplinary responsibility for the Construction Management and Factory Layout Planning department with currently 15 employees
Further development and realignment of the department in terms of role understanding and interfaces with internal customers (production, maintenance, FM, etc.) within EMEA
Responsible for the planning, control and implementation of construction projects and factory planning tasks (mostly conversion and renovation measures in the manufacturing environment) with a focus on quality, deadlines and budget compliance
Budget planning for structural and technical projects (e.g. annual planning or medium-term planning) of the infrastructure systems and properties
You organize coordination / construction meetings with customers, subcontractors and external planners and carry them out independently
You are responsible for supervising and coordinating external architects, specialist engineers and contractors for ongoing construction projects and for coordinating with the authorities
You weigh up possible risks and regularly hold forecast discussions with the department management
Your Profil
German Language Level C1
Englisch Language Level C1
Successfully completed studies in the field of architecture / civil engineering or real estate management
Ideally, you have several years of experience in project management / project coordination
industrial environment and have good knowledge in the field of technical building equipment, as well as in relevant regulations (including HOAI, VOB, ASR, etc.)
You are resilient and flexible and demonstrate your communicative skills in both negotiation and conflict situations
You are characterized by excellent organizational skills and an independent and structured way of working
You are a team player, have a confident appearance, negotiation skills, communication and presentation skills, persuasiveness and assertiveness
You have several years of management experience in various teams, ideally in an international company
You work in a network and across departments and are characterized by an entrepreneurial mindset
You have very good written and spoken English skills as well as sound knowledge of SAP, MS Office and MS 365
