Head of Product Engineering

Our client is a global leader and a recipient of multiple awards in the field of data analytics and engineering consulting, catering to a large customer base spanning across multiple geographies. They have state-of-the-art technology centers based in Bangalore and Chennai, looking to rapidly expand their team and operations.

About the role:

We are looking for a visionary leader, with a strong blend of technical as well as managerial skills, who will be leading a team of platform engineers that will build the pivotal platform and key differentiator of our client on which all customer engagements are delivered and would be providing high-quality, user-centric analytical solutions. You will be building creating roadmaps, managing and upskilling an exceptional 300+ members team of data analytics & engineering professionals, whilst being hands-on and up to date with the latest technologies in the market.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate for this role would be having an extensive overall experience of 15-20 years in the technology space, with extensive experience in Data Engineering , Data Science and Product Engineering. Experience building B2B products / platforms with skew towards data science is preferred.
• Good experience in microservices, cloud frameworks, DevOps and automation.
• Good project experience in working with Big Data Technologies such as Hadoop, Apache Kafka, Spark, Splunk etc
• Must be a hands-on technical person, ready to get into the weeds if required.
