Job Summary: The Associate Director - SAP will conceptualize, lead and own the SAP landscape including various SAP systems – ECC, S/4 Hanaand allied on-prem and SaaS solutions in terms of solution governance and template management. She / he will have to be a solution expert in more than one logistics modules like procurement, sales, production etc. and be an SME driving innovations across solution implementations.
Job Description:
• Build a strong structure for solution governance to provide specific project related information to the targeted stakeholders
• Strive to improvise on the existing solution to help business derive maximum benefit from varied IT solutions deployment
• Generate ideas for business improvements and is able to implement them practically
• Drive various system implementations/support initiatives and involve in opportunity mining, writing project proposals for various businesses involving project schedules and cost estimates
• Solution SME for more than one logistics and supply chain areas including ability to drive system changes for addressing key business problems with innovative solutions. Own and manage BPML for the entire Olam group from system point of view
• Bring right methods, procedure, and governance to management of diverse SAP landscape making sure the solution template is adhered to while bringing in new changes
• Evaluate system / solution risks on continuous basis and deploy risk mitigation strategies to control the risk
• Manage system audits from solution point of view and continuously strive to improve controls
• Participate in new solution / system discovery and ensure the system sanctity is not lost with new solutions
• Own and manage BAU including planning for upgrades
• Manage and ensure the integrations to SAP landscape are designed and developed in the most appropriate way
• Manage and report on SLA’s for solution review, configuration requests, design review, new system builds
• Evolve different ways of working for team depending on changing environments and be able to adapt to changes
Profile Description:
Experience: 12 to 18 years
• Graduate/Post-graduate, preferably from a top B-School (Tier 1 & 2) with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in ERP domain, preferably in Agriculture/FMCG or supply chain industries. Experience running global S/4 Hana implementation is mandatory
• Should have experience in SAP/other ERP covering core logistics modules with mastery on at least one module and working knowledge on the business process in remaining functional areas
• Should possess at least one valid certification on Project Management like PMP or PRINCE II-Practitioner level. It is desirable to be certified in Agile, ITIL framework etc. Strong experience in working with SAP Activate methodology is highly desirable
• Should have working knowledge on project management tools like MS-Project, MS-Office application, SAPProject Systems, Primavera etc, to name a few
• Experienced leader, ability to manage and direct work for a team of 15-20 members with functional expertise; have ability to influence on different ways of working
• Good solution architecting experience and should have experience in usage of various effort estimation techniques, pricing strategies and managing project finance
• Entrepreneurial, excellent communication, customer centricity, should be self-driven, confident and go getter
• Willing to travel to African countries for short/medium term duration basis business needs
• Good interpersonal and team management skills is must and should be able to groom the team towards organizational goals
• Good presentation skills along with very good experience in MS PowerPoint
• Have ability to stretch and be able to extend time depending on demand of work
