Position: Human Resource Manager
Location: Malava, Kenya
Company: Leading Sugar Manufacturer

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in human resource management or a related field
• Membership with IHRM and a valid practicing license

Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years in HR management

Key Skills & Expertise:

• Strategic HR leadership and business partnership
• Strong knowledge of Kenyan labor laws
• Extensive experience in CBA negotiations
• Benefits and compensation management
• Proficiency in HR information systems
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily HR operations
• Liaise with labor and government agencies on employee and industry matters
• Monitor industry trends and advise leadership on labor-related issues
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements
• Manage recruitment, compensation, training, performance management, and employee relations
• Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures

Reporting To: Managing Director
Team: HR Department staff

Salary & Benefits: Competitive (to be discussed during interviews)
Preferred Candidate: Male, aged 40-54
Tentative Start Date: 1st March 2024
