Our client, a subsidiary of a group, is an expert in organic, natural, and conventional hygiene and care products, which has been supporting the leaders of the cosmetics market for many years. It offers full-service and tailor-made support to ensure short time-to-market and rapid launches.
As part of its growth and to meet its development needs, but also in a context of extremely high pressure due to economic and geopolitical uncertainties, our client is looking to recruit an "Industrial Operations & Site Director", able to supervise and optimize the performance of industrial sites to implement the strategic vision defined by the General Management.
KEY MISSIONS
His/her main tasks, under the authority of the General Manager, will be:
- To implement the strategy and commercial policy defined by the General Management
- To manage operations and ensure the safety of people, assets, and the community.
- To improve profitability
- Adapting industrial tools, production and resources for better performance and proposing the necessary investments.
- To guarantee the conformity of the production site with administrative requirements.
- To produce the volumes and quality required by the market and according to the company's positioning
- To set up production to industry standards
- Supervise the quality of products and services sold
- Take part in budget and financial reviews in collaboration with marketing and sales, financial services and general management.
PROFILE
- The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree with at least 8 years’ experience in the overall management of industrial sites (multi sites) specialized in subcontracting, ideally for the cosmetics industry (CDMO, manufacturing, filling, assembly, bottling, co-packing, etc.).
- He/she will have a very good knowledge of industrial production processes, which is essential to ensure technical leadership.
- He/she will be able to manage a certain complexity, beyond the scope of production (finance, HR, HSE, maintenance, manufacturing, packaging, supply chain, quality, etc.).
- He/she will have to manage multidisciplinary teams with at least two levels of management.
- He/she will approach the role of Director as Profit Centre Manager.
- He/she has a knowledge and understanding of the market and customer expectations, both nationally and internationally.
- The personification of humility, leadership, and loyalty
- Mastering French, fluent in English
