Our client, a subsidiary of a group of companies, is an expert in organic, natural and conventional personal care products and has been a supplier to the leaders in the cosmetics market for many years. It offers a full service and tailor-made support to ensure a short time to market and fast product launches.

Our client is looking for an Industrial Operations & Site Director to manage and optimise the performance of its industrial sites in order to implement the strategic vision defined by the General Management, as part of its growth and development needs, but also in a context of extreme pressure due to economic and geopolitical uncertainties.

KEY MISSIONS

Her/His main responsibilities, under the authority of the General Manager, will be to

- Implement the strategy and commercial policy set by management.

- The management of operations and the safety and security of people, property and the community.

- Improve profitability

- To adapt the industrial tools, the production and the resources for a better performance and to propose the necessary investments.

- Ensure the production site complies with administrative requirements.

- To produce the quantities and the quality required by the market and in accordance with the positioning of the company.

- Establish production in accordance with industry standards

- Supervision of the quality of the products and services on sale

- Participate in budgetary and financial reviews, co-operating with Marketing and Sales, Financial Services and General Management.

PROFILE

The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering and a minimum of 8 years' experience in the overall management of an industrial site (multi-site) specializing in sub-contract manufacturing, ideally in the cosmetics sector (CDMOs, production, bottling, assembling, packaging...).

Essential for technical leadership, he/she will have a very good knowledge of industrial production processes.

S/he will be able to manage complexity beyond production (financial, HR, HSE, servicing, production, packing, supplychain, QA, etc.).

He/she will have to lead multidisciplinary teams with at least two levels of management.

S/he will approach the Director role as a profit centre manager.

S/he will have a knowledge and understanding of the market and the expectations of the customers, both at national and international level.
