Our client, an important Belgian FINTECH company, is looking for an Innovation BUSINESS ANALYST

As a Business innovation Analyst, you actively take part to continue transforming the company into a more innovation, agile and user-centric company.

To do that, you will assist the Innovation Manager on exciting innovation projects – from concept development to product development.

Tasks:

1. Assist the Innovation manager in delivery high-impact innovation projects end to end, bringing new proposition to market (R&D & consultancy missions);
2. Champion our user-centric design approach, ensuring users are at the heart of our design and development process;
3. Work collaboratively with people from a variety of departments and backgrounds;
4. Reactivity and adaptability will be part of your daily challenges, as the Fintech environment is always on the move. You will also be in direct contact with clients and will have the opportunity to travel to meet clients and prospects.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor or Master's degree, preferably in a computer science or technology field such as engineering, or a business degree with a strong focus on computer science, information technology, or a similar field. If you compensate the degree with very relevant experience, feel free to apply too.
• From 1 to 6 years of professional experience with a first experience as a functional or business analyst in the IT field, or any relevant experience in the field of innovation or software conception;
• Some experience in helping companies come up with new products, new service concepts, new business model or other.

Hard Skills

• Some experience with a range of innovation tools and methodologies (e.g. design thinking, rapid prototyping, design sprint and agile delivery). If you don't have any, do not worry: you wil be trained to.
• Affinities with digital applications and/or information technologies
• Analytical skills, with the ability to quickly understand and resolve issues, in the context of IT-oriented projects
• Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, challenging and dynamic business environment
• Effective work planning and strong analytical skills identifying critical business issues, in the context of IT-oriented projects
• Not afraid to plunge into regulation and sustainable investments
• Basic knowledge in finance is a plus
