Our client, an important Belgian Financial Services company is looking for an experienced IT MANAGER
Key responsibilities:
As part of the Management Team and reporting to the CEO, you will lead a team of four Analysts & Project Managers and will establish a framework for individual cooperation to supervise, guide and support them in their development and professional evolution in a relationship of trust. You will also manage the external IT partners ensuring a clear cooperation framework so that their priorities are well defined, and they can deliver the expected results.
More precisely, you will be responsible for:
- implementing, managing, simplifying, and optimizing business processes;
- managing and ensuring the creation of the Enterprise Architecture that translates operational processes and functionalities into an IT landscape (data, applications, and technology);
- managing and supporting the Business-IT project portfolio as well as the Small Demands. For this purpose you will also set up the necessary processes and procedures and manage the various IT partners;
- developing and managing the IT budget and the return on investment of projects;
- ensuring the realization of commercial and functional analysis and activity reports.
- placing the needs of the end customer and those of "internal customers" at the center of your priorities;
- efficient work and predictable deliverables, automatically integrating quality and ensuring that it can also be monitored effectively;
- building strong relation- and partnerships with other departments (internal customers) and IT external partners (a complex ecosystem made of IT Service Providers, RPA provider, …);
- change management and communication to gain acceptance and adoption of the proposed changes within the organization;
- participating to the strategic, tactical and operational development of the company together with CEO and COO.
Required Experience/Qualifications:
- proven experience in process improvement and successful project (portfolio) management of important improvement/digital transformation initiatives. Preferably PMI or Prince 2 certified.
- experience in applying Lean Management and/or Six Sigma philosophies, methodologies and processes to close performance gaps is a plus
- the necessary IT training, knowledge and experience in order to be able to adequately translate business requirements into IT architecture, processes and applications (experience in Agile, RPA and/or Low coding is a plus);
- demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and in managing an “Outsourced” IT environment;
- experience in leading and supervising teams (Direct and Indirect management) and in developing and motivating employees;
- familiarity with new digital technologies such as big data & analytics; artificial intelligence; machine learning, simulation; cloud computing; RPA, cross company data integration…
- demonstrated experience in instilling an operational excellence and continuous improvement culture
- fluent in Dutch, French and English.
