Our recruitment agency specialising in the cosmetics industry is looking to fill a key role within a leading company in the contract manufacturing of solid cosmetic products. To support their global expansion, our client is looking for adriven and experienced French and International Sales Manager. This key role is an integral part of the company's international growth strategy, building on its two-decade heritage of innovation in eco-conscious, healthy products and its ambition to become Europe's leading name in solid cosmetic contract manufacturing.
Key responsibilities:
- Forge the company's commercial foothold both domestically and internationally, identifying opportunities for market expansion, developing tailored penetration strategies and targeting potential customers.
- Implement a robust sales action plan and actively participate in key events to raise the company's profile.
- Keep abreast of market trends and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
- Drive sales growth by maintaining strong commercial relationships with French and global cosmetics brands.
- Work closely with internal teams to thoroughly understand customer needs and translate them into actionable projects.
- Foster transparent and effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Actively participate in commercial negotiations to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Monitor sales performance closely and report regularly to management.
- Oversee project launches, from the creation of commercial proposals through to assessing feasibility, costing and ensuring project profitability.Ideal profile:
- A graduate in international business with minimum 3-5 years' experience in the cosmetics industry, preferably in the subcontracting sector.
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken, with additional languages a strong advantage.
- Possesses negotiation skills, initiative, leadership qualities and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Commitment:
The selected candidate will be required to live close to the company's headquarters, which are located one hour's drive from Aix en Provence, and will not be able to work from home.
