Key responsibilities and authorities:
• Support global sustainable and profitable growth of Key Account
• Build connections with Purchasing, engineering, project teams and be recognized as credible interface / point of contact
• Understand & manage customer's expectations
• Develop cross functional understanding (Purchasing, Engrg, logistic, manufacturing…) to support building Business Cases – understand / challenge BCs & costing to come with the best proposal to the customer
• Develop and execute strategy / action plan to improve profitability of the account
• Monitor accuracy & account performance on volumes, profit … vs budgets
• Understand the future direction and evolving needs within the customer and proactively position Nexteer to support those needs.
• Work closely with Core Engineering / product lines to develop growth strategies
• Contribute to analysis of markets, trends, competition, portfolios, technologies across all product lines
• Bring “Voice of Customer” internally
• Key contact and coordination point for the global team for business opportunities coming up in other regions of the world (NAFTA, China, ROW)
• Establish offers to the customer and work/negotiate quote evolutions
• Understand and facilitate resolution of service, price/term of sales, technology, quality, responsiveness and performance issues. Work with the division and/or business unit to manage these issues in whatever structure and framework that is applicable for their business.
• Be responsible on the achievement of CPI tasks for Sales and marketing Department.
• Be knowledgeable of all customer programs. Interface with business/divisional program
• Create & maintain sales projects on cloud-based system
• Employee’s awareness of their impact on product quality and the importance of their activities in achieving, maintaining, and improving quality, including customer requirements and the risks involved for the customer with non-conforming productQualifications required:
I Education:
• Engineering / science degree / Commercial Education
II Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years related working experience
• Experience with customers like RNPO, PSA• Demonstrated experience in developing and managing a major customer relationship
III Skills/Training:
• Team oriented
• Good relationship, commercial capacities
• Multicultural flexibility
• Fluent in English and French (min.)
• A solid understanding of engineering concepts across a wide spectrum and the ability to effectively match customer need with Nexteer capability
• Proven track record of developing sales strategies, converting those strategies into plans, executing those plans and monitoring progress against those plan
• High energy, self-motivated and driven to results with the ability to positively influence business minded stakeholders
• Very high level of interpersonal skills comfortable with both technical and commercial customer interfaces
• Good knowledge of the financial dimension of the business
• Capacity to steer in uncertain and stressful conditions
• MS Offices tools
