We are now seeking a talented Key Account Manager with extensive experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (Food and/or FMCG), familiar with key customers such as Edeka and Rewe or others, as well as market strategies.

Position Summary:
As the Key Account Manager for North Rhine-Westphalia, you will oversee the sales of our comprehensive product range, including pasta, olive oil, and tomato products.
Your role will encompass:
Customer Engagement:
Manage and nurture relationships with existing partners and customers, taking on responsibilities akin to store management.
This includes defining target specifications, optimizing shelf layouts, and crafting product positioning strategies.
Business Expansion:
Lead efforts to acquire new customers within the designated area, employing strategic market development and implementing innovative sales and marketing concepts.
Product Expertise:
Utilize your in-depth product knowledge to make informed recommendations regarding product assortments.
Market Analysis:
Keep a vigilant eye on competitors and market dynamics, ensuring that the company remains responsive to industry trends.
Sales Support:
Collaborate with the regional sales office, participate in customer events, and contribute to internal trade fairs.
Reporting and Representation:
Analyze and evaluate sales activities, prepare compelling presentations for customers, and compile visit reports.
Act as a professional ambassador for the company during customer interactions, consistently upholding our brand's image.
Qualifications:
We are seeking an ideal candidate with the following qualifications!
Sales Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of professional sales experience, preferably within the Food or FMCG sector.
Retail Acumen:
Strong familiarity with food retail trade (Lebensmittel Einzelhandel).
Communication Mastery:
Exceptional communication and networking skills.
Organizational Prowess:
Outstanding organizational abilities, combined with a high level of autonomy.
Adaptability:
Willingness to travel and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Additional Information:
This role involves approximately 70% fieldwork, primarily within North Rhine-Westphalia.
Regular visits to the Düsseldorf headquarters will be necessary to collaborate with the Sales Manager and support marketing campaigns.
Training will encompass learning-on-the-job and intensive sessions, including a one-week immersion in Italy to deepen your understanding of our products and other departments.
Interviews will be conducted in English by the HR Manager, Sales Manager Europe, and the National KAM Germany.
