Our ideal candidate for the position of Key Account Manager will have proven experience in sales, new business development and national accounts in the area of logistics.

The Role

• Attract new large customers in Land (groupage international) and Contract Logistic, develop, grow and maintain successful customer relationship with them.
• Achieve business development and sales goals.
• Conduct and understand market intelligence for the UA market and utilize this to meet regional client needs.
• Develop on-going business strategies to ensure long-term opportunities with key accounts.
• Produce regular customer forecasts to contribute to strategy planning and budgeting.
• Partner with colleagues in other areas (e.g. product or customer service) to ensure quality and satisfaction.
• Analyze available data and provide reports to colleagues and stakeholders as well as key customers.

The Candidate

• Our ideal candidate will have high education with a focus on business, sales and marketing or have proven experience of building successful business relationships with large companies.
• Previous experience of managing large, national accounts in logistic area is essential.
• Knowledge of and relationships with large companies is highly advantageous.

Skills Required:

• Ability to communicate effectively in English is a must (Advanced level)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office with a heavy emphasis on Outlook
• Ability to work in corporate CRM and other company software
• Ability to understand and prioritize in stressful situations
• Be a problem solver and diffuse tense situations
• Ability to work independently, to take responsibility and make decisions
