Seeking an experienced professional with 4-7 years of experience to support their infrastructure needs at the L1 & L2 support, in and around Gurgaon
As a Support Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the organization's technology infrastructure. You will be addressing infrastructure issues and assisting with infrastructure projects as needed to support the organization's workforce.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting and resolving connection/system/account issues for users in the organization that are escalated from the L1 TCS Helpdesk
- Respond to Level 2 escalation events for users in the organization
- Analyze and diagnose complex problems in systems, accounts, and networks.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, as well as manage and monitor infrastructure components.
- Conduct software installations, perform system maintenance, conduct hardware checks
- Assist in system upgrades and migrations, conduct root cause analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and follow established processes to ensure prompt and effective problem resolution.
Must have skill set:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4-7 years of proven IT experience as a Support Engineer, providing technical support at L1 and L2 level
- Strong knowledge and experience with VDI technologies, such as VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, or Microsoft Virtual Desktop.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Familiarity with network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Location: Gurgaon Shift timings: 2.30-11.30 pm
