Candidate Profile/Job Description
Lead Hardware Architect
Your tasks
• Taking the technical lead on EE design activities to support product development and improvements
• Functional guide Hardware engineers and architects to a modular platform approach with focus to cost effective solutions across different inverters for mechatronic drives e.g. traction, ePumps, eFans and more
• Step in the role of technical HW project lead in our product or improvement projects
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions for the business
• Decompose Stakeholder requirements in to architectural blocks, I/O interfaces that are assigned to Hardware Electronic engineering team.
• Create and ensure HW architecture is conform with agreed customer and internal requirements
• Consulting and aligning with Customers, development partners and internal Experts for technical solutions
• Perform & guide change management with the customer and internally
• Estimation of the development costs and evaluation of the concepts with regard to functional, technological and economic aspects, including coordination with the responsible departments, customers, suppliers and research institutions with a strong focus on Design to cost & manufacturing
• Support RFIs/RFQs in serial development phase
your profile
• Masters Engineering degree in Electrical/Electronic or an associated field
• Thrive on working collaboratively with teams across functions and geographies.
• Good foundation knowledge in hardware embedded systems, its development process; furthermore ASPICE, IATF16949 and ISO26262 experience is a good base
• Experience in Automotive Electronic development
• Experience in Altium Designer, Enterprise architect and Polarion are beneficial
• High degree of independent and responsible work within the project team as well as analytical and interdisciplinary thinking and acting
• Be skilled at communicating complex technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical understanding
• Be interested in self-development and innovations in the industry.
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence others and lead project teams.
• Big picture thinker with an eye for details
• Be fluent in oral and written English
