Job Description:

In this role, engineer is expected to develop and maintain Network security, DCI and WAN technologies used to inter-connect multiple  datacentres, cloud-connectivity, and office networks. The engineer will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining DC network infrastructure by working on, Core switching, Internet circuits, dedicated WAN circuits, SDWAN technologies and cloud platforms. Troubleshooting, designing, and seamless execution are key to this role.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Proven knowledge in Managing Cisco Nexus, ACI(spine/leaf), Juniper VCF infrastructure
• Scripting skills to automate and execute fast seamless network changes
• Experience with DDI setup and migration (Infoblox)
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, traffic analysis
• Efficient with troubleshooting till the RCA is found
• Strong understanding of ACI- Spine/Leaf Architecture, SDN, SDWAN & Cloud computing or similar technologies
• Routing experience OSPF, BGP, EIGRP must
• Experience in Azure Environment (express route), VMs or similar cloud experience
• Integration of newly acquired sites/DCs into network seamlessly as part of Mergers and Acquisitions.
• Recommendation on DC Internet Capacity/Circuit planning and forecasting.
• Use of DevOps and Agile methodology to execute multiple, large projects in a cross functional environment

Additional Job Description:

• Collaboration with global infrastructure teams, assessment of existing setup, work on roadmaps to standardize and cloud migration of existing setup.
• Adherence and improving the best practices for the support and deployment of our infrastructure across the enterprise network stack (WAN, LAN, Wireless, Security, Load Balancer and DDI).
• Leading effort to reduce and resolve production incidents.
• Explore different ways of effective proactive monitoring and remediation efforts.
• Suggestions of tools and process to streamline operational effort.
• Advance understanding of monitoring technologies like SNMP, AppNeta , Wireshark, Flow Analysis.

• 7+ years of progressive experience in DC architecture, SDWAN, Internet architecture, routing, switching, load balancing and wan technologies
