Linux Cluster Developer for Kernel Storage

We are looking for someone to look into the code and check for any bugs and to maintain the storage system on the kernel. Also, to look upstream and maintain the clusters and develop code for the clusters.
Location: Remote
Experience: 5-12 years
Notice Period: Official 60 days or lesser
Responsibilities:
- Works on Linux High Availability Cluster Storage Layer, eg, cluster block device(soft RAID/mdadm), cluster logical volume manager(LVM), cluster file system(OCFS2), Distributed Replicated Block Device(DRBD), distributed lock manager(DLM), and the related packaging.
- Investigates various open source projects, and provide constructive reports toward the solution.
- Implement product feature, fix bug, continuous integration and testing.
- Actively engages the technical discussion in open source communities, and contribute code to the upstream projects.
What we expect from you:
- Must have solid C language experience. Other languages: asm, bash, and/or python are a big plus.
- Must familiar with well-known kernel APIs, eg. memory allocation, lock operations, sysfs, procfs, debugfs etc.
- Must familiar with one or more debugging tools, eg. gdb, ftrace, perf. Others like crash, systemtap, and/or bpftrace are a big plus.
- Very good understanding about one or more kernel subsystems, eg. mm, block, fs, dm/md etc.
- Must be fluent in reading and writing English to work with the international team world wide.
What would be nice to have:
- ~10 years R&D experience in the related area.
- Familiar with Linux kernel storage stack is a big plus, and your passion to know its internal are very important.
- Experience on Networking programming is a big plus.
- Experience on Cluster/High Availability/Distributed system is a big plus.
- Experience on Linux packaging and/or customization is a big plus.
- Experience on git, github, gitlab, or alike is a big plus.
- Passion for open-source and knowledge of community principles and practices is a big plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid skills in writing high-quality, well-designed and well-documented code.
- Self-motivated with discipline.
- Perseverance toward the problem resolution.
- Fast learner for the cutting-edge technology.
- Team work spirit with people with different personalities.
